ROUTE DESCRIPTION
We leave our campsite towards the track that goes up El Eucaliptón towards the recreational area of La Peñona. This first ascent, the longest of the route, has an average percentage of 10%.
Once in La Peñona, we descend along a trail down to the town of Recuevo. We cross the town and continue along a track that flattens out as we go around Santa Catalina. Having made the complete turn around the mountain, we descend along a path with a slightly technical end that descends in a z-shape to Los Cabos road. We cross the road and quickly find ourselves descending along the track towards the foothills of Monte Agudo. We ascend to the middle of the slope and continue surrounding the mountain. After a series of ups and downs, we appear in Somao, a town famous for its Indian houses. We descend towards Muros de Nalón and take the Camino de Santiago back to our campsite.
